Archie is our lovable and bouncy 3-Year-Old Male Lurcher.

Archie has been looking for his forever home for a while! Archie is a large boy who loves nothing more than playing and receiving whatever attention he can get! He loves to stretch his legs like any lurcher and will spend most his time trying to get you to play with him whether its inside or out!

Archie can be a little hesitant when meeting new people for the first time so it’s important to take things slow when greeting others for the first time and some treats go a long way, As much as Archie loves playtime, he equally enjoys getting a fuss and some strokes from those who will give it to him, and he will often lean into you to let you know he wants you to keep it coming. He is a foodie for certain, which makes training a dream. Archie can be defensive of his food bowl so will need be given space at feeding times.

Archies playful and active personality means that he can often get overstimulated in public and he can become frustrated when he sees other dogs that he cannot greet- this is something that is he is working on and he is making great progress, he can play with dogs however he is quite boisterous and its mainly ideal he only plays with dogs that match his energy and ideally his size. however, for now it is recommended that he is the only dog in the home, Archie is muzzled on public outings due to his high prey drive, and this has caused his frustration of cyclists leading to lunging towards them as they speed by. Archie is very well trained with his muzzle and has little issue having it placed on him, removed and while out and about.

Archie is looking for a home with no other animals and can be rehomed with children 16+, as well as a family who are willing and able to put in the training to help him grow.
