It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it? From afar, you might see Spicer's firm stance and proud gait and think her to be a rugged sort of girl - like a millstone hewn straight from the grit. But this would be an illusion. As you draw closer, and as the distance between you narrows, you'll find that all her straight edges soften and bend into gentle curves. Her smile stretches, her eyebrows arch and her body bows low. Her ‘firm’ stance is no such thing. It's as if her own unwavering warmth causes her to melt as you draw nearer. 

There is, however, a heft to her softness. Spicer is a physical dog, one who tends to bound when a simple stroll will suffice and one who loves to play more than she loves to snooze. Sometimes she is prone to acting before she's thought the said action through. But that is why we love her. She is a dog of simple, enthusiastic pleasures: toys, treats and bottom scratches. And she will do anything to get them. 

She has manners and basic commands - though can use reminders sometimes - and she is open and friendly too; she is pretty - for what it's worth - and makes the ordinary utterly extraordinary, but she will need an owner who can keep up with her.
