Age: | 3 Years (approx) |
Patch is a sweet young lad who arrived at the centre with his brother Dashy after their welfare needs were not being met. He was a bit apprehensive of staff when he first arrived but after some love and attention he has thrived and become more like his normal self. Patch is an excellent walker and loves being out and about. He is a very smart boy, knowing a few commands such as paw and has the potential to learn even more as time goes on. He loves to keep his mind occupied and stimulated so continuing with his enrichment and training would help him settle well into a home as well as his walks.
Patch is not suitable to live with cats or small animals i.e. rabbits but we feel he could possibly live with a calm dog following meet and greets at the animal centre. He would really benefit from a quiet adult only home, ideally in a quiet area with limited outside stimuli, where he can lounge about on the sofa and stretch his legs out. Experience with lurcher breeds would be preferred.
